My first baby boy

... growing up so fast.

7 Months Old

Another month has flown by!! Park is now 7 months old.

So what's new with him??

He's talking - kind of.... lots of babababa's.

He wiggled his way to a sitting position from his belly. Once. So I lowered his crib but he hasn't done it again.

He just started shaking his head no. One of my favorties!

He's on his second ear infection. Looks like he might be following in his brother Jake's footsteps - - - tubes might be in his future.

No crawling yet, but he gets up on his hands and knees and is starting to rock.

He's graduated to sitting in shopping carts/restaurant highchairs like a big boy.

And he's started using sippy cups & eating Gerber stars.

Park also went on his first airplane ride. And he was awesome!! He just sat on our laps and smiled the whole time. He would literally stare at the person across the isle until they finally looked at him and then he would flash them a huge grin. He is the biggest flirt EVER.

We've been so blessed with such a happy little boy.

First Day of School

The boys are in school - which means one thing... the mommy bus is back in action!! Jake is in 3 yr old preschool this year which is on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Wade missed the Kindergarten cutoff by 2 weeks so this year he is going to Pre-K every morning. They love their school and love their teachers. There are smiles every morning at our house! :-)

Haircuts

Wade & Jake haven't had haircuts since right before Parker was born. First of all it was because I didn't have the time ~ I typically cut their hair myself. (It saves $$ and helps justify what I spend on myself!) But then we kept letting it grow because it was actually cute! They looked like little surfer dudes and Wade had the cutest blonde curls.

But the whining and complaining in the mornings was driving me crazy!

"Come here, let me comb your hair."

"Stand still."

"Turn around."

"Look up."

"I said stand still."

"No, your ear is not bleeding."

"Why are you all of a sudden afraid of water?"

"Look down."

AHHHHHHHHH!

Enough is enough. You're boys. Let's cut it all off. And that we did.

Today we found out that not much has changed...

Park is still a big baby!

21 pounds - 94%

27 3/4 inches - 89%

and his head is 99% too!!
